Wow, Another Week Gone By

Another week has gone by!!! I can't believe it. I got home from Connecticut last week got back into the swing of things and had lost on my scale another half a pound. Things were going well other than being really busy getting ready for the next weekend's trip with the girls to Lancaster, PA for the Quilter's Heritage Celebration. It was a grand time!!! We took a bus to Lancaster and shopped until we dropped, literally. I don't know if I have ever had so much fun before on a trip of any sort. I got home on Sunday totally exhausted, but in a great mood.

The next thing that happened was at 2am my cell phone rang. My former horse, who my trainers now own, had her baby!! A beautiful filly!! Mom and baby are fine. I feel bad that my husband was awakened by the phone, but I am really glad that they called. I looked outside after I got of the phone and the ground was covered in that ugly white stuff that the Nor'easter dropped on us. My husband woke me up at 4:45 and told me that if I wanted a ride to work I needed to get up then. I took one look outside and got my butt moving. I sure didn't want to mess with nasty weather conditions!!!

Monday was pretty uneventful. I was getting myself back on track food wise after being out of town for the weekend, things were okay all day until I had leftover pizza for dinner and a piece of Shoofly Pie. While I was in Lancaster I got a 6" pie at a bakery. I have always wanted to try it and I can finally say I did. I actually liked it very much!!!

Tuesday was a good day.... except for food. I went out to lunch and ate way too much and then for dinner I had a bagel w/ cream cheese on my way home from seeing the new baby. I have to get my butt back on track. Starting tomorrow morning I am on a strict diet and exercise program again. I will eat my Breakfast, Lunch, Snack and Dinner and that is it!! I will start walking on the treadmill again as well, at least 1 mile, maybe more!! I will post my success tomorrow night.

Once I figure out how to publish a picture I will add a picture of the new baby!!
